The Early Days
The Ông Chà Và brand was founded in 1939. Initially, it was a small business in southern Vietnam, specializing in the production and sale of traditional spices such as turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, and ginger powder. These early products quickly gained the trust of consumers thanks to their high quality and rich flavor.
Challenges and Development
After the country underwent numerous historical changes, Ông Chà Và's production facility also faced many difficulties. However, through perseverance and continuous innovation, the brand maintained its reputation and continued to develop. By the 2020s, Ông Chà Và's products had become popular not only in the South but also throughout the country.
Expansion and Growth
With the construction of a 33,000 m² factory in Bến Lức, equipped with advanced production technology, Ông Chà Và expanded its operations and improved product quality. The 2020s marked a significant leap forward with the launch of the "Agricultural Spices" line and entry into e-commerce platforms.

- 1939: The Ông Chà Và brand was founded.
- 1976: Nosafood merged with a small private business and became part of the Vietnam Food Corporation.
- 2004: The state-owned company was privatized, with 70% of shares sold to new shareholders (the state held 30%).
- 2009: Mr. Ho Joong became a major shareholder and was appointed Chairman, while also serving as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Dalat Milk Company.
- 2015: The company was renamed to Nosafood Joint Stock Company.
- 2018: Mr. Ho Joong became the major shareholder, appointed CEO and Chairman, and began rebranding and developing new products.
- 2020: Launched the new Agricultural Spices line, with sales and marketing expanded to e-commerce platforms.
- 2021-2022: Built the new Bến Lức factory (33,000 m² of construction and green space).
- 2023: Moved and started operations at the new Bến Lức factory.
